Along with the information technology development of society, wireless communication becomes more and more attractive and popular. In comparison with the traditional communication, wireless communication has a number of advantages such like have not need to rout and easily set up or updated the system. By contrast, the traditional communication system needs rout and have to speed more money to maintain. At the same time, the wireless communication system has the same data transmit rate compare to wired communication system. Therefore, wireless communication becomes a trend in the future. Low power short distance wireless communication is one of the wireless systems. With the development of radiofrequency (RF) technology, large-scale integrated circuits (LSI), digital technology and semiconductor manufacturing process become more and more mature, making a lot of components of wireless communication integrated into chip. Using wireless communication chip, micro-controller and some peripheral circuits can constitute a wireless communication system. There are a number of advantages of this short distance wireless communication such like small volume, low power, good stability and strong anti-interference capability, which has a short development period and easily embed into other equipment. Therefore, it is can easily establish connection between two or more equipments. For the above reasons, this wireless system widely use in industry, agriculture, medical and other fields.Based on low-power short distance wireless communication discussed above, there are three works mainly researched in this thesis.(1) The architecture of the digital wireless communication system is researched and the styles of the modulation and demodulation are expounded such as ASK, PSK, FSK and some Variants. The Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM) is mainly expounded because it is used in applications such as digital television and audio broadcasting, DSL broadband internet access, wireless networks, and4G mobile communications. According to the structure of the OFDM, a MATLAB simulation model was given in the thesis.(2) Antenna is an important component of a transceiver. A wireless transceiver’s working principle was discussed and then the main parameters of antenna were mainly expounded. A rectangular micro-strip antenna was designed, which was simulated using the High Frequency Structural Simulator (HFSS). We found this antenna which we designed has a good performance and the parameters meet the design requirements.(3) At last, a wireless temperature sampling system set up on the system level, which was designed by hardware design and software development. Through the environment testing, the temperature sampling system can complete the real-time temperatures.
