Abstract/Summary:
Automatic fire alarm system is for early detection and notification of the fire, and to take timely and effective measures to control and extinguish fires, the automatic fire-fighting facilities setting in a building or other place,which is indispensable to modern fire safety.With the now growing number of buildings, fire hazards also increases.Therefore, the fire alarm system has become an indispensable device in modern buildings.The fire alarm system is the intelligent bus distributed alarm system, though the installation of the system is high flexibility,still can not satisfy the needs of modern applications.SimpliciTI is a low-power wireless network protocol which aimed simple and small size wireless network, it is a completely open-source simplified network protocol for wireless sensor networks.SimpliciTI has low cost, low power, simple features.It supports a variety of low-power applications, such as fire alarms, security monitoring, remote reading, medical devices, intelligent home as well as radio frequency identification.After analyzing the architecture and composition of SimpliciTI protocol, design a wireless fire alarm system.This system compared to traditional distributed alarm system has a removable, without wiring, flexible networking features.The system has the function of receiving, transmition and displaying of the fire alarm information.The system composes of access point, range extender and ending.Ending detects the data of the scene of the fire through the temperature sensor, smoke concentration sensor and gas concentration sensor.Range extender is used to extend the communication distance, due to long distances between ending and access point when they can not communicate directly, you can join the range extender to make connection implemention. The access point is used to receive each ending’s information, then process them one by one and send these information to PC via USB or LAN.System design including software and hardware design, hardware design using the CC1110as the main MCU, including the peripheral circuit of temperature sensors. gas concentration sensors and smoke sensors; Software design including network protocol analysis and transplantation, sensor’s driver, access point’s communication program.In the actual performance tests, the system is running stable, achieved good test results.reach the purpose of design.
