| Today air pollution and energy shortages have become common in the world. Now, there are many small and medium sized boilers in industrial and commercial enterprises. Due to the low-level automation, these boilers have many serious problems, such as coal burning incompletely, higher exhausted oxygen and a greater heat loss. These problems result in a lower heat efficiency of the boiler and a great waste of energy, and pollute the environment. So it is very important to control the boilers using computer.Because boiler control system is a MIMO system, the control result is not very good by using conventional control methods. According to the concrete control model, a complete and practical boiler control system based on ARM is designed.Firstly, the steam boiler with electric-heating has high thermal efficiency and no pollution. Secondly, seven network instruments with RS485communication interface are needed to design in this control system, including a pressure control instruments, a water level measuring and control instrument, a temperature control device, two pressure control devices, a flow measuring and control instrument, a current detector and an electrical measuring instrument. Thirdly, TPC1062KS is the core controller of the control system in order to meet modern business requirements of boiler control and management. And some shortages of traditional control system are overcomed, such as the monitoring and control functions, man-machine interface, data processing and networking capabilities. Finally, the monitoring interface of the boiler is designed with the embedded configuration software MCGS.The boiler automation control system is based on ARM in the application of factory which has a real-time monitor and control for the boiler and makes the boiler running safely, steadily, efficiently. |
