| Packet switching technology has become the mainstream technology of the transmission network, PTN technology has accounted for a large proportion of the major operators network.PTN is in packets as the unit of transfer of carrier-class Ethernet services, compatible with the integrated transport of TDM, ATM, and FC business.PTN technology by providing pipeline connection to the service access and processing level OAM capabilities, end-to-end service configuration and large-scale network management, the ability of high-quality business security, a comprehensive synchronization scheme.Evolution of its business levels from TDM toward IP-based pipeline from a rigid to flexible, improve the bandwidth utilization.Simultaneously support traditional TDM voice services and IP packet service to achieve a seamless evolution of the transmission network, to protect operators’ investment.PTN protection and recovery capabilities to affect their business performance and network resource utilization and network survivability an important factor.With the improved survival requirements of PTN, protection and recovery strategy of it has become more important.This paper studies the PTN technology background, current situation and development trend of PTN equipment stratified transmission model, function of network architecture, data forwarding, PTN technology transfer.OPNET simulation software as a platform, were established Ethernet technology and PTN network model, the simulation comparison experiments.The test results show that PTN technology in network reliability and stability of the advantages of packet switching as the core.This paper also systematically studied the complete protection of the PTN network, including:linear path protection, ring protection, the LAG protection, LMSP protection.Focused analysis of the dual-homing protection in the different scenarios under the protection switching process, dual homing protection technology based on the detailed requirements analysis, needs analysis on the existing dual homing protection program improvements to enhance the networking capabilities of the dual-homed node.Completed in the new dual homing protection configuration scheme for dual homing protection node state machine design to solve the conflict of the local status of the request with an external switching command.The detailed design process layer to protect node, the node routing protection switching and fault recovery.Finally, on the NEC PTN devices configured with two dual-homing protection model.By using the Telnet protocol to connect remotely equipment in the Secure CRT software, configure the operating parameters, using test instruments tested two configurations network service capacity and protection switching time.Experimental results show that the new protection configuration scheme for dual homing network capacity and the correct and effective to meet the standards of China Mobile’s network. |
