| Safety, evironment protection and energy conservation are the three main requirements for vehicles, and the most important one of them is’safety. In addition, in consideration of the frequent traffic accidents and high-level death toll, the braking system of vehicles which affects the safety directly is very valuable to research and develop. However, owing to lack of software system for calculating and designing braking systems, people have to look up theoretical formulas, pictures and tables in massive documents and then calculate and draw complicated sketches. To win the competition in the future maket means to improve the design efficiency and reduce the production cost. This paper is about a braking system calculation and analysis software deisgned for the actual requirement of the auto enterprises.The software is designed by using the object oriented method and Visual6.0as the development tool. This paper elaborates the following issues:1. The overall design of the software. A powerful software needs smooth processing and friendly HMI. In the basis of the previous study, this paper represents clear developing process, detaled software modules plan, friendly HMI and intelligent data entry mechanism, in consideration of the complexity of design of braking systems.2. Software modules realization. This paper include more than20caculation and analysis terms, they are placed into7primary modules and arranged as the traditional thinking in order to provide users with convenience. Especially,the simulation results are represented to users by "one key" by writing interface programs and building models which includes VC and Simulink co-simulation modules with ABS.3. Realization of data management. Data management are required for data entry, short-term memory data, default data, data transfer between modules and data saving and so on. The paper shows how to achieve those tasks by erecting a good public data class and a ACCESS database.4. Software interface developing. Software interfaces divide into interior interface and exterior interface. Interior interface is in charge of maintaining of interior data in the software, while the exterior interface is for CAD/CAE softwares which means in charge of the communication between this software and other ones.Finally, a group of examples are shown to prove all the function of the braking software. Then the paper represents the research achievement and the research prospect.Through a running example, the software structure, user interface, calculation and analysis function as well as the simulation function are shown obviously, from which we are easy to find the software can improve the design efficiency and shorten the brake system development time. By the data interface with other software, it can be further developed to have more powerful function, such as CAD and CAE, which provide some instructive significance. |
