Research And Implementation Of The Dictionary Of Mongolian Semantic Knowledge

"The dictionary of Mongolian semantic knowledge " is a database of knowledge that described the synonymous set. The synonymous set consisted by Mongolian and English word. These synonymous sets connect by the semantic relation, in order to reveal the relation of these synonymous set. The Mongolian theory study oriented information and the construction of knowledge database is the basics of more extensive using the Mongolian on the computers.The " Mongolian Grammatical Information Dictionary" developed by Inner Mongolia University had provided a number of word knowledge for Mongolian information processing. It is the first study for Mongolian information processing building, but the" Mongolian Grammatical Information Dictionary" is more focused on the grammatical information description. So it could not provide enough information for Mongolian information processing. This article describes the" the dictionary of Mongolian semantic knowledge " as the dictionary of semantic knowledge that gave priority to the semantic relation. The main differences of our dictionary and other dictionaries are the manners of organization. The other dictionaries organized by the morphology or the pronunciation, but our dictionary organized by the semantic relation. According to this method, we realized a knowledge database that had a higher value on using. We designed and researched of the dictionary of Mongolian semantic knowledge that is a semantic dictionary displayed by Mongolian and English, which is a bilingual semantic dictionary. We make reference " Wordnet "and "Hownet" to construct the framework of the dictionary of Mongolian semantic knowledge. The dictionary contained the main semantic relations are hyponymy relation, relationship between part and whole, antonym relation, entailment relation etc.. We used these semantic relations to construct our dictionary as an knowledge network.Through the study of semantic knowledge, we learned that the semantic study of other languages is already mature, and the semantic application can be expanded. We will be able to transfer the research results of English and Chinese to the Mongolian semantic study. Because the Mongolian word form and English word form are similarity, which is consisted by letters, we researched the dictionary of Mongolian semantic knowledge that took more references from Wordnet. Through continuous study we finished the semantic knowledge database that had about100000semantic sets. We use the computer to manage our lexical database. This article mainly introduces that we constructed and searched for the dictionary database. We achieved a real Mongolian semantic knowledge dictionary. After further improvement and expansion, we believe that the comprehensive dictionary of Mongolian semantic knowledge will make contribution for future study of the Mongolian information processing.
