Xi 'an College Of Engineering Design And Implementation Of Integrated Management System

In technical college, building campus management platform is the most important method for developing vocational education, raising educational level of workers, promoting employment rate and cultivating high skilled talents in the information society. The management information systems (MIS) for XGY is developed again on the basis of the function of student management and performance management. It provides the open and flexible platform of information management and exchanging experience for teachers, students and managers.The MIS for XGY runs on Windows Server2003with MySQL as backstage database, which is developed in PHP using DedeAMPZ IDE. According to the actual needs, we have designed and implemented five subsystems including enrolment advertisement, registration online, polling online, teacher’s work management and student information management. The enrolment advertisement subsystem answers to the school’s demands of issuing and updating enrolment advertisement information, which could add and modify information in time and update regularly in system administration. The registration online subsystem is used for pre-registration online of students in the procedure of school’s autonomy enrollment, which could provide inputting, querying and modifying registration information, as well as statistical function. The polling online subsystem mainly serves for the selection of "My Favorite Teacher", in which teachers are marked taking class as unit and the polling result could be viewed at any time. The teacher’s work management subsystem meets the teachers’ needs of teaching and class management, which mainly implements assessment and marking among teachers, quantitative assessment, conduct evaluation of students, etc. The student information management satisfies the students’requirement of studying and daily life, which implements application for financial aids, awards and societies, based on the characteristics of students in the vestibule schoolThe MIS for XGY has been running in trial in the LAN of XGY now and it will be officially used in July this year.
