As an emerging cultural industris, animation industry plays aimportant role in rich the the people’s spiritual and cultural life. The highquality animation production require high level productor andadvanced technology support.In the long_term process of anmationproducion,I find the role of plug_in is very important.A well designedand fully featured plug_in can improve the efficency of animation andeffects. Moreover, how to make a real character aniamtion hasalways been a difficult problem, And the most difficult parts ofcharacter aniamtion is build a skeleton. A good skeleton system canimprove the animation appreciation. As a digital image and animationdirection of educational thecnology postgraduates, I not only canmake an animation,but also can develop software. Combine theabove views, I decide to develop this plug_in.Plugins are mainly designed for character skeletal structures, youcan create any skeletal system as you want, professional and practical.According to the functional requirements, the plug_ins can be dividedinto Reference feature module, which can create a reference planewhen you want to create a bone system; Dummy module, which cancreate some dummies for bone building; Skeleton create module,which can create any bones after your create correct dummy; Boneselection module and Simlpe boen create module.We did a test in theanimation productor and student、 teachers, this pulg_in get anpositive evaluation.I summary the design and development process of this plug_in,combine the knowledge of software design and industrial design, outof a method about plug_in design and develop. this theory includethree aspects:plug_in functionality modules design、plug_in interfacedesign theory and plug_in development theory. The functional module design is key, interface design is the performance, development is atool. these three theories together constitute a ring structure.The entire paper is divided into seven chapters, Chapter oneintroduct the background of the plug_in devlopement and theoreticalsignificance. Chapter two set out correlation theory. Chapter threedetermine the function of the plugin framework through questionnaire.Chapter four and five is the design and development process. chaptersix is the functional evaluation. In the end,we summed up thebreakthrough point and insufficient of the plugin, outlook plug_indevelopment prospects.
