In this paper, the domestic and foreign development of rewinder is brieflyintroduced based on the current situation of paper-making equipment and flow of work.Along with the development of science of technology, the speed and e accuracy of thissystem and the stability of the system have been required to reach a higher level. Themain content and significance of this research is also based on it.The principle, characters and entire technological process of the rewinder isanalyzed and explained in detail. A system of Rewinder Compound Tension Controlbased on PID is proposed according to the analysis of the consistent tension of theunwind roller,the analysis of comparison of direct tension control and indirect tensioncontrol, and the control algorithm of the Fuzzy PID. The analysis of the torque of thissystem helps improve the torque distribution control. The control algorithm has beenrefined by the improvement of the control algorithm of the pressure rolling roll andemulation of system model.This paper gives a detailed introduction of Ethernet and the configuration processof fieldbus. The configuration process based on the Three-tier monitoring and controlnetwork which contains the Field control layer, monitoring and operating layer andmanagement and decision-making layer. The field control layer which placed at thebottom of the entire network is directly responsible for all equipment on the productionfield and their acquisition and operation. The main task of monitoring and operatinglayer is monitoring the processing technique. The control parameters are also inputthrough man-machine interface at this layer. As the middle layer, it provides datainterface to the top layer, the management and decision-making layer. According to thedata, the top layer could optimizes human, finance and material resources from amanagement perspective emphasized safety and science.The PLC of Siemens is the hardware control of this system. The SiemensConverter MM440is used to control the main electric motor and the touch screens ofBeijing Kunlun Tongtai are used on the site. The software programming of the systemwhich includes PLC programming and Man-machine interface configurationgives awhole idea of the software and analyzes each function block based on the methods ofmodule programming.
