With the rapid development of the wireless communication and the appearence ofthe IOT, to expend computer network in existence to the internet of things through thewireless communication has become a significative research area. The thesis putsforward a low-carbon incense system through the wireless communication and internet, based on the background of the Buddhist culture of Wutai Mountain. And it designed aterminal device which carried the information display and incensing function. Thissystem meets the wishes that pilgrim incense anytime and anywhere, and at the sametime, it reduces the pollution of traditional incense, it has an important practical value. The thesis analyzes the current development status of internet of things firstly, then, based on the fully studying to the demand of religious cultural tourism market, itproposes an approach of the electronic incense system, designs the frame, defines thesystem function and describes the system implementation in details. This systemadopted SMS which based on GSM, internet, embedded system, network, and databasetechnologies. It builds up a control center which controlled the terminal devices, incenseinformation. This system finally achieved the functions that include the incense fromSMS, Web and WAP and system management. The application server is JAVA,developed by J.Builder, and database support from Oracle11G.The feature of the thesis is: First, it designs an electronic censer terminal devicein which emulates the incense progress, when received the user’s request, the electronicincense raises up with flicker. The LCD displays the user’s information and prays.Second, it emerges multiple platforms and designs a new way of incense a channel toincense.
