As wireless networks can satisfy the demands of consumers that they can communicate with anyone anytime anywhere anyway, recently the research in MANET is becoming more and more popular. The MANET network carries out a distributed management among the nodes, and that greatly decides its battery-powered character because the equipment of the nodes should be moved easily. The instability of the network topology and the limited quantities of electricity of the nodes make the route of the network unstable. Although each node in the MANET is able to discover new routing and maintain the discovered route, it is the essence of this paper to discuss how the routing mechanism of the nodes recover from the broken route considering the complex communication conditions in the process or after the communication between nodes facing the failure of links and nodes. It will increase the end to end delay and cause unnecessary retransmission of packets to further increase the burden of the links and nodes and to waste energies of the networks, leading to a vicious cycle if the recovering mechanism does not work. So, it is a hot issue how to quickly and efficiently recover communication between nodes in MANET due to the failure of some nodes and links and movement of the nodes. And the consumption of energies of the nodes almost involves each level of the nodes. Then, the multi-hop transmission mechanism and battery-powered feature greatly affect the survival time of the networks. Even some nodes that carry on too much burden would exhaust their energies too early to make "isolated island" phenomenon, which will influence the performance of the whole networks. It is the focus of this paper that how to ensure the successful communication between nodes while saving the energies of the networks to increase the survival time as long as possible.The route distribution mechanism proposed in this paper is based on the synchronously flicker of fireflies groups in the ecosystem. On the basis of the existing route repair mechanism, this mechanism is to solve the failure of the routes problem in the process or after the communication of the nodes. According to the destruction level of the routing, nodes can recover the corrupt routing with different mechanism to reduce the loss caused by the failure. Compared with the existing routing recovering mechanism, the mechanism proposed this paper improves the performance in average delay, the cost on controlling messages and the successful delivery rate.For the energy saving problem, this paper brings in a bionic-based sleep mechanism on the basis of the current wireless routing algorithm. The states of the nodes in this part are divided into2states:working state and sleeping state. When nodes are in working state, they will predict the arrival time of the next packet according to the delay information carried in the arriving packets and start the timers. And then the nodes go into the sleeping state, when the nodes neither receive packets nor send out packets. As soon as the timers reach the time they were set, the sleeping nodes will be waked up and go into the working state. As there exists transition time when nodes try to convert into a new state, the sleeping nodes will wake up earlier than predicted to balance the packets loss due to the sleeping states of nodes, which will be calculated with the feedback basing on the bionic mechanism. In the process of the selection of routes, the mechanism is designed to avoid the nodes with insufficient energy according to their remaining energies to extend the survival time of the networks. With simulation, on the basis of the same energy quality, the survival time of the proposed mechanism is longer than that of the common AODV algorithm. Meanwhile, the improvement of the prediction accuracy would balance the nodes’ packet loss and energies and increase the throughout of the networks.
