As the pace of life is accelerating, traditional ticket style is out of time because it’s hard to meet people’s needs. Smart card technology and near field communication technology promote development of electronical tickets. But e-ticket faces security problem since it’s born. For the developing applicaton environment of the e-ticketing, this paper designed and carried out an implementation of e-ticketing system with flexibility and security base on smart card and NFC technology. Due to the combination of trends in e-ticketing and mobile terminals, RF-SIM technology is adopted in the electronic ticketing system proposed by this paper. On the basis of the security mechanisms of Java Card technology, PKI-based authentication technology ensures the security of e-ticketing, avoiding fake tickets or malicious use. This system adopts Microsoft Enterprise Library as the development framework, which is powerful and easy to transplant. It provides many mature enterprise-class modules to ensure the smooth progress of system development. By using the Microsoft Enterprise Library technology, the difficulty of the electronic ticketing system development is reduced and the project development cycle is shortened. On the other hand, the system’s reliability and scalability are also both improved. This article focuses on the Asian Games mobile phone e-ticket project, carried out a detailed analysis of the actual service requirement. The electronic ticketing system adopts distributed system architecture and supports distributed e-ticket validation. The innovative ticket validation process is designed to meet the security requirements in the Asian Games, using NFC technology to provide faster authentication and better security for e-ticketing. Because e-ticket is not popular for now, the system must consider the compatibility of different situations. After minor modifications of the traditional paper tickets system, both the traditional paper tickets and electronic tickets can be validated by the integrated ticket inspection equipment. The system has been put into use in the2010Guangzhou Asian Games. It has stood the test of practicability, reliability, scalability, efficiency, and other significant advantages.
