Design And Implementation Of IP PBX Network Element Management System

With the lowered phone tariffs, industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce, the telecommunications industry is increasingly focused on the control of operating costs, which requires equipment manufacturers to develop lower cost equipment. IP PBX network element management system is implemented in such low-cost pressure circumstances. Although it is a low-cost system, but the need to implement the functional requirements will not decrease, even need a quick response and a higher efficiency of the development in the subsequent functional requirements.Currently, carrier-class’s application software development in a relatively low-cost solution is to do the products of commercial development in the open source community alternative to paid commercial products. Then, the scheme under discussion use multiple products of the open source community, including the Apache web server, PHP web programming languages and tools, Mysql database server,the ACE programming framework and Red Hat Enterprise operating system. The system needs to be implemented is the basic network element management functionality, including three functional modules, such as data configuration,fault management and resource management, follow-up also need to support billing, account management, product management, subscription services and user credit control function. This article will discuss the design and implementation of the basic network element management functions, and how to get ready for the follow-up demand, and shorten the cycle of development for new demand.In the design and development of the system, the author was responsible for design and implementation of WEB client, data configuration component and some common component. The author designed the fault management component and resource management component, but doesn’t implement these two components.
