As the popularization of mobile phones, people’s requirements of the function services and the network quality which are provided by the mobile communication network keep higher. In order to satisfy people’s operating requirements, the operators promote increasingly the GSM network optimize. At present, China’s digital mobile communications technology has been developed to2.75G EDGE system and simultaneously constructed on popularizing the3G network, which improved the communication speed of the mobile communication network data greatly. It becomes the most concerned problem to the network operators about how to improve the quality of digital mobile communication network. Network optimization is reasonable for the entire mobile network resources to deploy and adjust, as well as to maximize the improvement of network quality and service levels. How to improve the quality of digital mobile communication is the operators’ primary task.Currently, the operators have the special system network optimization department, through some conventional network optimization methods to collect the network data such as DT\CQT. Connections on the data people can analyze the call completing rate、the rate of drop call, the rate of successful handover, through the adjustment of the network cover antenna and the switch data to achieve the purpose of the network optimizes. This article mainly analyses the measurement report data, sets out a new approach to network optimization---network structure optimization for solving the hidden problems in the network structure. It is through the analysis of measurement data, adjustment of the network coverage、capacity、frequency and other issues to achieve network optimization, so as to improve the network quality.
