In2012, The general construction goals of Hunan Mobile Metro core transmission network is:based on satisfy servers needs, continue to carry out basis resource reserve、adjust network structure, comprehensive introduce new technology such as PTN, OTN and so on, advanced technology-oriented, the structure is clear, flexible scheduling of network deployment, gradually build a well-structured and easy to expand, with intelligent scheduling capabilities, to satisfy the changing needs of customers and business delivery network. Provide unified hosted platform for data, voice, broadband and video services.Subject tasks response the construction goals and overall deployment of Hunan Mobile metro core transmission network, construct based on OTN Technology in Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network, complete the design and implementation of Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network, fulfill the data service access and metro PTN business loading, effective support Hengyang Mobile business development strategic plan and communication network upgrade, it is very important to expand voice service, promote data services and3G/LTE services. It has important practical significance and far-reaching historical significance for rapid development of national economy in Hengyang.In the design and implementation of this project, As technical staff of Hengyang Mobile network construction Centre, involved project work in this issue such as project proposals develop and feasibility analysis, involved project implementation phase such as review design drawings, prepare construction, review construction drawing, bidding, presided over the construction of scheme development and implementation, completed existing resources statistics, equipment selection, system commissioning test. OTN networks currently in the pilot stage, it will be complete and acceptance in the end of year.First of all, this paper describes the subject background, the background is development of network technology and operational type transition to IP-focused, construct Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network based on OTN technology, propose subject tasks, that is complete the design and implementation of Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network, set up the desired objective, that is fulfill the data service access and metro PTN business loading, effective support Hengyang Mobile business development strategic plan and communication network upgrade, it is very important to expand voice service, promote data services and3G/LTE services.Detailed key technologies of OTN such as the function of structure, OTN network interface, OTN equipment types and basic requirements, protection for OTN network. for making the right technology choices on the design and implementation of Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network. This paper surveyed the present situation of Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network, analyses the problems of network status, pointed out the necessity of construction of Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network, proposed construction strategy, forecasted business needs, completed the construction scheme of Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network based on OTN, recommend OTN equipment selection criteria, required the construction of optical fiber network, carried out economic feasibility analysis and sensitivity analysis for this construction scheme. From the test results, the desired objectives of the construction of Hengyang Mobile metro core transmission network based on OTN achieved.
