In the design of the FCS system, to understand the network transport protocols and master it is extremely important. With the Flourish of the FCS over the years, mainstream applications co-exist with a variety of independent development of the FCS, no universal connector means of communication between these different protocols and methods, so to some extent, this increase the difficulty of monitoring network.The gateway is to achieve the interconnection between networks of different communication protocols, also known as internet protocol converter. A gateway can be used to connect two different bus or network. A gateway converts protocol, providing a higher level interface. The gateway allows transferring data between two networks with different protocols and packet group. In the transmission of packets from one network segment to another segment, the gateway provides a way to message repackaged to form a new group of packets.The contents of this subject is to explore communication and control network technology and a variety of bus protocols, achieve the design of the gateway with embedded platform, to achieve a variety of protocol conversion of site control level network,such as Profibus, Modbus and CANopen. Upper management network is TCP/IP. Respectively.To achieve bi-directional data exchange of the Profibus-CANopen,the Modbus-CANopen and the CANopen-TCP/IP.The work done in this article:1. The research of the fieldbus and network communication technology, including data communication and control networks, network interconnection reference model as well as industrial Ethernet technology with three bus technology and protocol analysis;2. The solution of the gateway design, including the gateway technology, the analysis of the gateway needs, the design of the overall program design and conversion module;3.The design of the gateway hardware, including embedded technology and microprocessor circuit design of each module;4The design gateway software, including the embedded software technology design methods, and the protocol conversion software design, as well as the experiments and tests the part of the design.
