| RFID (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID) is a communication technology, usingradio to identification a specific object, to read and write the relevant data.The applicationsystem and identify the target will not need to contact each other mechanically or optically.With the rapid development of technology, RFID has been applied to public venues,management, personnel management, food traceability, retail and postal. Deploying RFIDmiddleware in RFID applications can reduce the complexity of system. RFID hardwaremiddleware is a combination of software and hardware, facilitate the users to build their ownRFID network, docking applications, saving cost, providing a better mode of industrializationthrough the combination of hardware and sofeware. In this paper, the work includes:(1) Analyze the key technology, characterist and architecture of RFID hardwaremidlleware, and identify design ideas of core issues.Make a study of EPC Global standardspecification, cross-platform communication, routing, QoS, which is a design basis of theRFID middleware architecture.(2)Analyze the problems faced by RFID hareware middle which integrated RFIDmidllware and hardware environment. Design and implement EPCGlobal standard-followedRFID milldeware. By the Implement of device agent and adapter mechanism usingcross-platform communication technology, the device management module achieves RFIDdata collection. The Application Level Event (ALE) achieves RFID data filtering by usingEPC segment matching model and bit-parallel automaton.(3) Research in the key problems of communication, RFID network formation in RFIDHardware Middleware and then describe RFID Hardware Middleware overall framework anddesign ideas. It realizes a RFID middleware server module supporting concurrentprogramming interface, and a routing module which support routing protocol like RIP, OSPF.Finaly, we tell the workflow of RFID Hardware Middleware.(4) Research the QoS problems while deploying the RFID Hardware Middleware. And itproposes IPv6-based RFID routing QoS model. It realizses the QoS configuration filtercontaining the IPv6flow label and priority, queue management of grading queue and priorityqueue, scheduling of different priority of data. This paper provides new ideas and methods reference for the framework design in RFIDmiddleware, as well as the integration of RFID middleware to hardware,and development anddeployment of new methods and new ideas. |
