With the rapid development of power electronics, maintenance and repair management ofpower electronics equipment requires not only advanced maintenance and repair technologies,but also need advanced management mode and means. Customer service of large powerelectronic equipment manufacturing enterprise needs track timely, understand the aftermarketto provide customers with excellent after-sales service, which improves their own equipment.Therefore, research the general rules of power electronics equipment maintenance, developpower electronic devices for remote maintenance service system, improve the utilization andservice life, reduce the maintenance cost and enhance the corporate brand, have importantpractical significant.Against to the harsh operating environment, high failure rate, backward way of protectionof power electronic devices, design and develop a remote maintenance system software whichbased on a hybrid model combined with Web and mobile. The software is highly configurableand can provide customers with ability of remote maintenance, the main works include:(1) Analysis the complexity of power electronic equipment, the variability of the type offaults, the coupling among faults, wide geographical distribution of equipment, construct anarchitecture including monitoring, diagnosis and maintenance, based on the integration ofWeb and mobile, overcomes the difficulties about underlying information which difficult topass and transform by traditional methods.(2) For multi-level, multi-species, distribution and other characteristics in themaintenance knowledge of power electronic equipment, an expert maintenance system ofpower electronic equipment based on a hybrid framework of rules and knowledgerepresentation is proposed. This system takes full advantage of the features of the frameworkknowledge which has high efficiency and doesn’t produce conflict while reasoning, and therules knowledge which is good at expressing incomplete and dynamic knowledge. Combinewith forward inference mechanism, realize diagnosing the faults of rectifier devices quicklyand efficiently, and propose professional advice of maintenance.(3) A remote maintenance system software based on a mix-mode of Web and mobile isdeveloped. On-site user can obtain technical help information through internet and mobilephones, or directly communicate with customer service staff. Equipment manufacturersrealize remote monitoring and maintenance by using this software, and provide users withremote repair service.
