Laser is the carrier for the star optical communication, Acquisition, Tracking, Pointing technology is the main optical communication support strength. With its high bandwidth and high bit rate, the secrecy of strong, low power consumption meet the precision system requirements. Therefore, ATP technology research is especially important.This article mainly aims at the ATP system of pure tracking system for research. In conventional control mode of application based on robust control theory to fine tracking controller design. Mainly expounds the concept of robust control theory, the robust stability and robust performance analysis. According to the mathematic model of the system using comprehensive methods for robust controller design. Fine tracking system performance analysis, its overshoots is0, and adjusting the time of0.004s, bandwidth for270Hz, meet the ATP system can fine tracking system to the requirements. Combined with rough tracking system and to the entire star optical communication system between the robust control theory simulation system, its overshoots reaches4.8%, the transition time is0.6s, tracking accuracy reaches0.6μrad.
