As the popularity of informatization, there are a growing number of managementsystems, for example: Customer Management System, Book Management System, HumanResource Management System and so on. The reason why I pick out this topic—InternManagement System is that more and more undergraduates will have an internship with acompany in their holidays and this trend forms a scale. Interns are not the core of acompany; however, they are necessary and essential, while as a company, it does not paygreat attention to and manage interns by the numbers. So in this paper, I want to getattention from the companies and extract this group of people, according to designing asystem, to help company to manage and make full use of this resource.First of all, I want to raise a phenomenon that is eventually company begins to hiremore interns more frequently while the management of interns is not good at the same time.Based on this fact, I will explain why an Intern Management System is really necessaryand useful.Since J2EE has the following advantages like safety, robustness and cross-platform, Iwill use J2EE as the developing language. The fact is that there are many matureframeworks like Struts, Spring, Hibernate, EJB and so on, different framework hasdifferent characteristics and applied range. I will analyze how to choose the combination ofmany frameworks. After confirming the use of SSH, I will give an introduction of differentframeworks. The combined framework will have the following advantages: Struts provideclear structure; Hibernate facilities the operation of database; Spring decouples theconnection among each modules. A good system will try its best to improve the userexperience besides meeting the basic requirements, which is a successful system.Then, this paper will discuss the Intern Management System based on SSH, includingrequirement analysis and design, the details of planning and implementation.At last, this paper will discuss the difficult points and solutions. With methods ofabstract class, helper class, splitting configuration files, second cache and so on, it willimprove the performance of this system. Using property files and its internationalizationfunction enlarge the application areas. To integrate Spring with Hibernate and Struts. And Ipay attention to performance evaluation; I will establish an evaluation system and choosetarget system based on research. Since the existed evaluation method is full of subjectivefactors and it cannot reflex the real situation, this system will use cluster analysis withSPSS software to deal with the data and show the objective result.At last, I will give a summarization of this paper’s outline and an outlook of the future of Intern Management System.
