Along with the increasing of population, industrialization and urbanization,the demand for energy will rise substantially, and economic development is facedwith the constraint of energy and environmental pollution problems of energyconsumption. To improve energy efficiency and to reduce the energy consumptionis very necessary and urgent. The traditional manual mode of operation, not onlywaste a lot of manpower and material resources, but also has lagged behind and iseasy to generate artificial statistical error. While the general energy consumptionmonitoring system is only to achieve the amount of energy consumptioninformation and not to give partial metric classification statistics and energy-savingcontrol, so it only gives some help for enterprise energy management and energysaving.For solving this problem, this paper designs a solution of industry energymonitoring and energy-saving system based on the internet of things. The mostadvanced internet technology will be applied to the industry energy consumptionmonitoring, using the networking comprehensive perception, reliable transmissionand the intelligent processing characteristics of the industry energy consumptionmonitoring. The industry monitoring forms a unified monitoring network byconnecting each other. Not only can realize energy monitoring information, butalso achieve the aim of reducing energy consumption using the environmentalcontrol data and the principle of expert system.First, this paper reviews the background and situation of the current energyconsumption monitoring system research, then introduces the concept, system architecture, key technology about the internet of things, and research the structureof the internet of things, finally summarizes application and developmentforeground of the internet of things.Secondly, this paper designs the solution of the industry energy monitoringand energy-saving system based on the internet of things including the systemarchitecture and the structure of the software and hardware. The system hierarchyis divided into four layers. The perception layer is in the bottom of the hierarchyand its function is monitoring the energy consumption and environmentalinformation. The control layer is for controlling the industry energy consumptionequipment. The network layer finishes collecting, storing and transferring data.The application layer provide the system functions for the users, including energymanagement, capacity analysis, data monitoring, equipment control and energysaving management.Third, this paper analyzes the industry energy saving strategy, study expertsystem in industry energy conservation application, and designs the energy-savingcontrol expert system based on the model of the relationship between the rules ofindustry energy.In fourth, design a system gateway server of the internet of things accordingto the need of the project, and introduce the implementation of software andhardware in detail.Finally, this paper introduces an application example of this system and givesthe summary.The research and the final product of the system are very good for the rapiddevelopment of the industry, reducing the industry energy consumption andimproving the process of the industry information.
