| Recent years, different kinds of animation products, like film and television media, networkgames, has a rapid development. As for Chinese animation production, it needs to be furthernourished by the soul of national culture. As a result, Chinese animation can get a bestcombination between national culture and esthetic sentiment of the new era. It is also the keypoint of this paper. Based on the production of 《The Old Man and the Dog》, this thesis isfocusing on implementing a distinctive2D short film by combining traditional line-drawingtechniques and computer animation software Flash. The research work can provide a new ideathat how to use new computer technology for line-drawing animation. Furthermore, the topic of2D film is related to Yushu earthquake in Qinghai Province in2010. Therefore, it has animportant social benefit for promoting various forms of social support and assistances after thedisaster. The main work of this paper includes:1) The drama of animation film. The topic of drama has a high level of creative thinking inreflecting love between people and the world because it is based on rescuing events after thesocial disaster. Moreover, the thesis generates the ornamental character of the old man who hasvicissitudes appearance and good heart after making an analysis of film background. Inconsequence, it can effectively represent the idea of the film.2) Implementing framework of short animation. After learning and studying tools of2Danimation, this thesis gives a detailed production process and strategy of the 《The Old Manand the Dog》. In addition, it makes use of video shots to show the specific tasks of variousstages.3) Creating technologies of short animation. As for the film form of artistic expression,different strokes are used to express the simplicity and imagination. Meanwhile, line-drawingsare used to represent profound ideological content. In practical implementation, the Photoshop software is used to design and render animating character. Then the Flash software is used tocomplements technology and lens synthesis for the final production of animation.4) Teaching practice of students with animation. Author also conducts reform and innovationfrom teaching practice. The creative process of the short film is put into the process of teaching.A throughout analysis of film, including the creative ideas, implementing ways, is supposed topromote the continuous improvement of teaching effectiveness. |
