This essay which analyzes mobile newspaper’s more visible influence on audience isbases on audience’s reading habits. Besides the all rounded insight about mobilenewspaper’s form, features and the3G background from theories, this paper also take TheEarly and Evening News, Expo Mobile News, Nanjing China Unicom Mobile News andi-news Mobile News as examples to reflect the specific operating mode of mobilenewspaper. Through the combination of theories and practices, this paper try to givereaders a better understanding of audience reading habits and the factors behind theforming of these habits.In fact, after the research of mobile newspaper’s sending hour, forms and modes ofcontent production, the audience is prompted to form the habit of inspired to read, whichmeans audience is mainly depend on the mobile newspaper in the choice of reading hourand reading content. Also, the theories of communication modes help us with the resultsthat mobile newspaper is more likely to active the interaction between the audience andwebsite, traditional media, mobile newspaper, mobile advertising suppliers separately.Moreover, audience’reading situation is reported to be relatively closed by dailyobservation and analysis, this kinds of closure including audience’s close towards externalenvironment and their internal psychology. Last but not least, the detailed research in theselected aspects of Nanjing China Unicom Mobile News and i-news Mobile News help usfind that the editing features of mobile newspaper influence audience’reading tendency insome ways.On the coming of3G era, this paper also gives a description for the prospects ofmobile newspaper. The integration between2G and3G mobile newspaper will be graterthan confrontation after all, we still need to pay more attention in their co-existence.This article can be considered as part of influence research about mobile newspaper,will finally favor us in more correct understanding and using of mobile newspaper.
