Based On The WEB’s Graduation Thesis Management System

With the rapid development of information technology, people generally use network application platform to build a safe, reliable and effective management system to manage the internal affairs of department. Along with the higher school reforming, the college management has become more and more network. Today, our college has achieved student’s management system and student performance management system of network. But for the students’graduation paper, there hasn’t a relatively perfect management system. Through the developing the system, applying the B/S structure and ASP technology, involving students users, teacher users and administrators users, realize the management of graduation thesis. Meanwhile, it can arouse the enthusiasm of the students to participate in the graduation design and build the interactive platform for the teachers and students to make the contribution to the graduation paper management.This paper introduces the design for graduation thesis management system based on the web. The system is based on the ASP to develop, exploring B/S model and SQL database. It provides convenient platforms for the teachers and students who can make full use of computer network to finish the graduation thesis management, instructing and writing.The system is divided into three kinds of users:students, teachers and administrator users. The main functions are as follows, students users: their specific operation including selecting courses through internet, Uploading their documents, changing the password, checking paper contents and the commencement reports and uploading the document.teacher users: their specific operation including giving thesis topics, uploading the paper’s topic and the relative documents, reviewing the problems in the students’filed commencement reports and auditing students’documents, administrator users:their specific operation including managing the users’right, teachers’giving thesis topics, students’thesis selecting, and giving scores to the students, the statistic and typing, and giving the suggestions to the files which is checking etc.This paper mainly introduces the developing process of designing for managing the graduation paper. Mainly analyzing the important mode, which is designed by the system. The system of the graduation paper management is still need to be improved in the future. After putting it into to use, we should expend its function with the fact, bring really convenience for the teaching management of our college.
