| With the rapid development of our economy, people pay more and more attention to thetraffic condition. How to manage it effectively has gradually become the focus of thegovernment. Accordingly, various intelligent traffic systems are created or to be studied, and tomonitor the illegality of running the red light of motor vehicles is an important key element.Owing to the background above, the thesis designs a E-police system based on videodetecting, which can automatically catch the illegality of motor vehicles, in order to provid astrong evidence for traffic management department.Firstly, the thesis explains the definition and development of intelligence traffic system andE-police system. Then the thesis introduces the theoretic knowledge of video detectingtechnology. Then the thesis discusses the hardware and software design of its front end system.Inthe test method of running vehicles, the thesis uses an approach, namely virtual loop. It has donea substantial improvement for that of conventional methods, which is effectively avoids the badimpact of using physical loop in traditional monitoring and controlling traffic system. The detailsdesign of software function module and implementation, introduces the software workingprocess and the key technology of software design. The software is applied to actual traffic, thenshows the front-end software interface and capture effect, tests the software from the functionand performance, then verify the efficiency and stability of the front-end software design. Finally,this thesis summarizes the full work and puts forward further research outlook.This thesis concentrates on solving the practical application problem. The author did a lot ofexperiment for the practical application. After long-time running the system at the crossing, theVideo E-police system achieves good results which prove its practical value. |
