For improving reliability and precision, this thesis discusses. filtering algorithms, faulttolerance design and information fusion techniques and their application of theINS/RDSS/TAN integrated navigation system on the background of a national importantresearch project.The operating principle of terrain aided navigation system (TAN) andradio-determination satellite service (RDSS) are discussed. Error equations and errorsource models of inertial navigation system (INS) are given.According to the filtering method of INS/TAN and INS/RDSS integrated navigationsystem, physical-filter, least square (LS) filter and Kalman filter are particularly discussedin detail.,all these method are tested through digital simulation and half-physicallyexperimental verification.And the effect and application characteristic of three kinds offilters are also studied. Kalman filter is the best method of the background integratedsystem.for it’s high precision.According to the two assistant Navi system (TAN and RDSS), Information fusiontechniques are studied based on multisensor integrated system. And based onfederated-filter-structure,the information fusion method of multisensor integrated system isstudied. For the easy implemented structure with another virtue of good fault tolerance,no-reset mode is a perfect information fusion design..At the end of this paper, Analyzing typical failures of TAN and RDSS, fault detectionand isolation of integrated navigation system is studied. Using the results of previouschapters, a flow diagram of structure of INS/TAN/RDSS integrated navigation system isdesigned.
