Research And Implementation Based On Gray With Color Pencil Drawing

Non-photorealistic rendering is a new problem in computer graphics and imageprocessing. It is an effective combination of computer science and art. It emphasizeson people’s subjective feelings, designing to give people the joy of beauty. In thispaper, according to research on pencil drawing methods and analysis of drawingmodels both home and abroad, a method for simulation of pencil drawing texturebased on wavelet layers is put forward, on the basis, the color pencil drawing resultsare obtained with color transfer. The detailed work lists as following:This paper puts forward a method for divide different layers based on wavelettransform, and the motion blur is applied for each layer, we can achieve directionaltextures. It avoids the problems with failure image segmentation and LIC waste moretime in traditional pencil drawing. We divide a source image into four layers ofwavelet transform. Such layer is added noise and the different motion blur performed.The different directions texture is generated. Lastly, composite the resulting layers andcontour. The final result is satisfactory.Presented a new color transfer algorithm based on HSV and YUV space. Firstly,the source and target image by the algorithm are converted to HSV space forprocessing. Secondly, the source and target image are converted to YUV space to dealwith. Lastly, the processed images in two kinds of space are converted to RGB colorspace and composite the two images. The experimental results show that the effect ofthe final color pencil drawing images is natural and more reflect the artistic style ofcolor pencil drawing.The algorithms of pencil drawing applied to dunhuang paintings achieve goodeffect. The generated pencil mural show artistic charms of the combination of thetraditional design elements with modern art and truly reflect the deep art aestheticvalue of line-drawing.
