In the concept of "national people-oriented", whether massesunderstanding the role of Chinese people’s congress deputies, the important politicalgroups in China, is crucial. Nowadays, the manner of news reporting constantly hasimproved, the audience consciousness has awakened and the multiple value concept hasformed, Audiences want to see a three-dimensionaland multiple Mediated Im ageμ ofChinese people’s congress deputies, which should also line with the trends. Therefore, theconstruction research of mediated image of Chinese people’s congress deputies should neverbe neglected.The paper based on report of Chinese people’s congress deputies of "People’s Daily"from2001to2011. According to the election requirements and principle of structuraloptimization, the study about mediated image of deputies from three aspects: charactergender, the geographical and social strata. And then, The paper proceed from fourcategories including reporting forms, reporting theme, reporting attitudes and reportingperspective, to analyzed in data, and understood the construction strategy of mediatedimage of Chinese people’s deputies. The paper also summed up the reporting mode andimage tags of Chinese people’s deputies. In the course of the study, it found that theconstruction of mediated image of Chinese people’s deputies has the followingcharacteristics: close to the publicity strategy, reflecting the actual situation and policyrequirements.
