Design And Implementation Of The Hard-disk Remote Security Control System

As social informatization deepens, people pay more and more attentions to the safety ofdata. Hard-Disk is data storage medium for most computers, due to which it is extremelyimportant to protect its data. At present, data encryption is a common measure taken homeand abroad, whereas there is a lack of a comprehensive solution to protect the medium fromloss or burglary.The purpose of this article is to designing a protection mechanism for hard, which candetermines the current position of hardware by GPS, detects the ambient temperature of harddisk by a sensor, supports users to interact by messages and the hard disk protection system,verifies the safety of users who use the system and their operation, automatically gives analarm to the administrator according to the state of hard disk and even automatically destroysthe data, in order that the hard disk can be protected as far as possible and the its data can beprevented from illegal acquisition. The system is equipped with fake hard disk in addition topractical hard disk, which not only guarantees the safety of users’data, but also avoids dataloss resulted from faulty operation.My prime tasks are as follows:（1）analyzing and transplanting the open-source software;（2）designing drivers for specific hardware;（3）encoding and decoding messages according to needs after analyzing messagingmechanism of GSM network;（4）designing a safety control module which can receive and execute users’instructions,give automatic warnings according to environmental conditions, automaticallydestroy data under special situation and notify users, etc.The hard disk storage protection mechanism designed by the author has been deployed inthe Blue Shield of the technical reconnaissance detachment, Dongguan Public SecurityBureau. After practical use, it is suggested that this mechanism is effective in protecting thedata safety of the hardware.
