The Design And Implementation Of Century Electric Power Company’s Library Information Management Systems

The traditional library management stays on the basis of the paper in someChinese libraries now, along with expanding the size of the library collection, thecontinued useing traditional management methods will waste not only a lots ofhuman and material resources, but also because of low efficiency, often can not meetthe needs of users. Library management system will enable the use of librarymanagement procedures, standardization, systematic, can effectively improve theefficiency of library management.Library management system described in this article is basing on Eclipse3.2.2that is as a development platform, and uses Windows XP SP2as the operating system,its database is using Microsoft SQL Server2008. This system is designed specificallyfor small and medium-scale libraries, the use of B/S structure, with the user querysystem, library management system and user rights management system of three partstogether to complete the book out of library storage, add or delete users, check booksto borrow, through which allows users to make an appointment books, borrow, renew,set user privileges，library lending rules and other functions.First, the article describes the purpose and significance of library informationmanagement system, the project’s development and design principles andspecifications introduced;And then lists the application system development to themain technical,after the description of the system functions, system design librarymanagement system to gradually explain the structure and function of the systemmodules, and elaborated a detailed user’s query subsystem and system design andimplementation of test cases and test results;Finally, this paper presents the system thedirection of further research, and summarizes some of the process of projectdevelopment experience and understanding.
