RFID technology which is an important support of Things technology has developedrapidly in recent years, widely used in logistics, manufacturing and other industries. In theprocess of RFID tag design, the appropriate tag type is selected through the theoreticalunderstanding of the RFID tag system, and then proceed to do the optimization of the RFIDtag antenna design, and simulation and labeling of physical performance tests to detect thelabel design to meet our requirements. In practical application, due to various factors affectthe tag’s antenna substrate bending deformation, which greatly affects the use of the labeleffect. Therefore, after the study of the RFID tag antenna design and the production of theRFID tags under special circumstances (the antenna substrate bending deformation)application,an antenna is proposed which has little less impact in the read range in the case ofantenna bending. The thesis first studies the theory of the RFID label design, focusing on the label designof impedance matching principle and the antenna impedance test method. In the passive RFIDtag design, in order to achieve maximum power transfer, the antenna impedance should be theconjugate to the chip impedance. The antenna impedance is calculated using electromagneticsimulation software, and is tested using the vector network analyzer test.Secondly, the antenna production methods: etching. For studying different antennaproduction methods, understanding the advantages and disadvantages of etching, and etchingoptimization, makes a number of places that need attention in the experimental process. Finally, in the laundry industry applications for RFID tags propose the design of thelaundry RFID tags and the goal to achieve. Therefor a dipole antenna is used. Firstly, thesimulation software is used to design appropriate to meet the requirements of the antenna. Then, etching the RFID tag antenna makes the antenna out. Then testing to verify thisantenna meets our requirements or not, and in bending conditions testing the read range of theRFID tag antenna to do experiments, to verify the design results verifies the design. Theresults show that the design of RFID tags in a certain bending case still has good RFID radiofrequency performance.
