Planning And Construction Of The Shanghai Telecom NOC Uniform Resource Pool And Cloud Desktop

Firstly,we give a general overview on the history and technologyarchitecture of cloud computing, focusing on IaaS.Then comparing thecloud computing propulsion strategies of telecom carriers, we believethat the use of x86virtualization technology to build a unified resourcepool is the only way.Next, we compared and preferred x86virtualizationsolutions, and explored key principles and mode of the resource poolbuilding.According to the analysis of the status of the business platformsand OSS systems, we determine the appropriate systems to move intothe resource pool.We integrated access terminal by using virtual desktoptechnology.We introduced a cloud desktop technology.Having Comparedand selected several VDI technology, we completed the construction planof the Cloud Desktop.Through this project, we completed the construction of resource pooland the cloud desktops planning.Shanghai Telecom has won a goodeconomic and social benefits.
