The Design Of It Management System Based On ASP.NTE MVC Framework

With the continuous development and growth of China’s capital markets, the XiangCaiSecurities has been significantly speeding up the pace of its informatization constructionespecially because the stock market has been booming up in recent years. However,theinformatization construction is being promoted,but at the same time the development speedof the management level of XiangCai IT department is slower than that of its informatizationconstruction. Because of lacking effective information management tools, XiangCai securitiesIT department exists two aspects of shortage in the daily management: On the one hand, ITcenter cannot get the maintenance logs in time from the branches so as to be unable to fullygrasp the running status of the branches’ information systems, and are not able to supervisethe timeliness and consistency of the daily maintenance logs recorded by the branches’ ITstaff, either. Thus there are certain management blind spots; On the other hand, the hugeworkload of project testing and defect tracking are always processed artificially so that itspends too much time and human resources in transmitting data, collecting feedbacks andgenerating reports. Meanwhile the testing results are not showed intuitively and makedifficulties in the following tracking and maintenance work.To solve the management problems of the IT department in Xiangcai Securities and toimprove its overall department management level and work efficiency, this paper based on theobject-oriented?analysis and design method focuses on the realization of an IT managementsystem, which is fit for the feature of the securities company’s distributed structure. Thesystem is developed with ASP.NET MVC framework and has two functions which areInformation Reporting and Project Management:Information Reporting refers to the IT center’s collecting, processing, summarizing andreporting of the daily running data from the branches’ information system through the information management method. Correspondingly, the IT center is able to acquire theoperation and maintenance data promptly with the branches’ reporting the running statusevery day. In other words, the global monitoring level of the department could be significantlyenhanced, meanwhile the workload of the data collecting is saved and work efficiency isimproved.Project Management function is used for recording and managing the tests, requirementsand defects of the software system in the delivery phase, leading to the effective tracking andinspection. As a unified platform for project tracking and communication, ProjectManagement can record the feedback on each tests, defects and requirements for every branch.This function provides the project administrator with the comprehensive, intuitivepresentation of the completion progress and thus substantially reduces the human cost andtime consumption in management activities.Firstly, this paper, based on the analysis of the management situation of the ITdepartment of Xiangcai Securities, identifies the existing problems and deficiencies whichlead to the effect and significance of the IT Management System. Then this paper describesthe related research tools, methods and characteristics. According to the object-orientedmethod of analyzing and designing, the main part of this paper carries out requirementsanalysis, system designing, detail designing and system testing to complete the design andimplementation of the Xiangcai IT Management System. Finally, this paper summarizes theresearch work done before and indicates the shortcomings of the current design and the futureresearch directions.This IT management system is designed according to the distributed feature in theoperation and management activity of securities companies. There should be some referencevalue for the researchers in the field for the same purposes.
