Grain safety storage is related to the strategic important matter beneficial to the people’s livelihood, science store grain has important social significance and economic value. In order to prevent abnormal temperature inside the granary, resulting in the loss of grain and grain storage managers need to regularly check the temperature, humidity, and other food stocks in the granary. Optional RS-485, RS-232wired connection data communication makes the the traditional granary monitoring system in granary monitoring system has inherent flaws, such as the expansion of the system sleepy, anti-interference ability is relatively poor, connected linemore; may affect the entire network when a device is damaged, very detrimental to the management and monitoring of the granary.Therefore, in order to ensure the safety of the reserves of food, This paper proposed one kind monitoring system design scheme based on the ZigBee and LabVIEW. This system adopts a wireless sensor network (wireless sensor network, WSN) on granary environment monitoring, The system uses wireless sensor network (WSN) to monitor the environment of the granary, follow the ZigBee protocol to transmit the data collected by sensors wirelessly to the gateway node; gateway node transmit the data to control center through the serial port; control center uses Lab VIEW to complete real-time display of data, analysis, storage, and the abnormal alarm. The system realizes intelligent monitoring of granary.This paper proposes the background and significance of the subject of development, and briefly describes the characteristics of the ZigBee communication protocol and the Lab VIEW development platform; Secondly, completed the overall scheme design of wireless temperature monitoring system based on ZigBee and LabVIEW; Thirdly, designed the hardware and software in the system. Finally, debugged the system. The system microprocessor CC2430RF chip as the core of the device, thus simplifying the system design.To ensure communications between nodes of the WSN, network software uses TI’s Z-Stack protocol stack, designed according to the functional requirements of each node communication program. This paper studies the temperature data acquisition based on ZigBee network, it can according to the actual demand and the external environment to form a network. Granary temperature data collected is uploaded to the monitoring center, control center uses LabVIEW to complete real-time display of data, analysis, storage, and Remote operation. The system has the advantages of reliable data transmission, simple operation, friendly interface, for a variety of monitoring system opened up a new way.
