| At the beginning of first construction of the campus network in1994, we vigorously launched nationwide domestic colleges and universities in the information construction process during the decade. Now we have summed up much experience about the campus network planning and management. We promote information technology in booming domestic universities, and the international education information technology as well. The campus network is information systems integration complexly; including a wide range of integrated the room environment design, network topology design, network security system design, system support platform design and application system platform design.In this paper, we design the campus network overall program, which is incorporated by many advanced network management concepts and ideas. The program needs all the demands of the undergraduate university campus network security, operations and management based on the practical design. We combine with a cloud computing concept and make the virtualization on the campus network of the underlying network platform and storage system. By the effective program, we obtain the resource integration and on-demand distribution, save the investment expenses and improve the management efficiency significantly. We also use the idea of one of five security operations management, organic integration based on the network authentication, and unified Radius server to manage the whole school uniform identifiable information. The users only need to use the same set of account and password access to the campus network through a variety of ways to use the office network, in the office or in a hostel dormitory network; accessing to school resources or to the Internet; campus or at home, or travel in the field through the VPN access campus application system; using the IPv4protocol or IPv6next-generation Internet protocol to access the campus network which is to use a unified set of identity information. At the same time, the administrator is also the identity of individual users through a unified management platform for rights management. It will greatly enhance the management efficiency, reduce the complexity of network management, and decrease the network maintenance workload. The planning is applied to the campus network in the real environment after repeated demonstrations. The actual effects of the application are consistent with this design effect for Hunan University of Science and Technology campus network planning. The planning will promote the network overall program planning, especially for the campus network. |
