The main work of this paper is to design a Zigbee wireless sensor networkssystem, including node hardware design and software development of Zigbee protocol, implemented the wireless sensor networks measuring temperature, humidity andatmospheric pressure. The hardware system is based on solutions of TI chip CC2430which had2.4GHz radio frequency generator and51microprocessor, used two digitalsensor chip composed of sensor network node. The entire circuit is fabricated onceramic substrate, used thick-film interconnect technology to manufacture hybridintegrated circuit module. This paper analyzes the key technology of wireless sensor networks, discussesZ-Stack protocol stack, researchs the μC/OS-Ⅱ operating system transplantation inCC2430. On the basis of elaborating on the details of the application layer compositionand how a project developed under the stack, the paper completes self-developedcontent of the Zigbee protocol for the project requirements. The μC/OS-Ⅱ operatingsystem had transplanted in the chip serves to the whole protocol. This protocol realizedthe established of wireless network, the node joins and frame routed, enablingmulti-hop wireless data transmission. Finally, the paper described the procedure of actual network set up whichvalidated the function of the hardware. After the formation of the tree network usedZ-Stack protocol, parameters such as packet loss rate, network latency, throughputwere designed and tested, access to relevant network parameters. After the experimentof the networking set up with the protocol based on μC/OS-Ⅱ operating system, thepaper verifys the functionality of the protocol. The work of this paper has somereference value for wireless sensor networks research and application.
