With the rapid development of computer networks and multimedia technology,copying and distribution of multimedia products has become more convenient.Therefore, how to protect the security of multimedia information received wideattention. Digital video watermarking technology is becoming an international researchhotspot. The digital video watermarking algorithms associated with H.264videocompression coding standard are relatively limited. Funded by the provincial projectDigital Content Protection System In Office, the study and application of digital videowatermarking technology have been done.In order to generate safe, robust watermark, first this paper studies the watermarksignal preprocessing. Second, the further research on the principle,framework and keytechnologies of H.264codec is done. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreignvideo watermarking algorithms,this thesis proposes a DCT-domain hybrid videowatermarking algorithm: Robust watermark is embedded in the Medium Frequencycoefficients of the I-frame luminance4×4DCT transform to protect video copyright.While fragile watermark is embedded in the high-frequency coefficients of the I-frameluminance4×4DCT transform to preserve the video integrity. In order to enhance therate-distortion performance of the watermarked video stream, it is necessary torecalculate the optimal prediction mode of the macroblock after the watermarkembedding. It achieves blind detection that the watermark is extracted without theoriginal video.Finally, the proposed video watermarking algorithm is realized by Visual C++development platform. The proposed video watermarking algorithm is tested usingcommon attack methods. The results show that the proposed robust watermarkingalgorithm has better robustness and resistance to attack and the fragile watermark hasgood resistance to compression attack and can complete copyright integrityauthentication.
