Design And Implementation Of The PHP-based Medical Association Conference Management System

With the rapid development of society and the wide application of networkcommunication technology, the Internet become very important for people to obtain,publish and transfer information. With the increasing medicine academic exchangeactivities, the number of academic conferences which is held is also increasing. Thetraditional conference organization method can not meet the requirement forinformation transfer and work efficiency. The current situation requires the traditionalconference organization method to combine with modern network informationtechnology.This paper studies and develops a PHP-based medicine conference managementsystem. This system composes of background management component and foregrounddisplaying part. The background management component is to achieve the conferenceregistration, editor, modify, and delete registration information, paper submission, viewthe paper audit status and other functions. The functions of conference administrator areregistration information collection, hotel accommodation, paper submission and review,information release statistical analysis, system maintenance and others. The foregrounddisplaying part is to show conference news and information.On the basis of Web software development method, the UML object-orientedmethod is used for system modeling, and the illustrations are used to describe thedemand from the user’s point of view to ensure understanding of the system in line withthe user. The relationships among each entities of system are analyzed by using ERdiagram and the database structure is designed in line with the third normal form.Thedevelopment environment based WIMP (Windows+IIS+MySQL+PHP) is set up andserver-side CodeIgniter framework is used in programing and MVC programming ideasas a guide. Finally, system requirement analysis, system design and realization are done.This system greatly improved the efficiency of the conference managerment.
