Design And Implementation Of Equipment Management Subsystem For Engine Room PSMS

The PSMS (Power and Surroundings Monitoring System) is a platform thatsupervise operational situation of the power supplying equipments and the condition ofengine room environment. PSMS can achieve real-time monitoring the equipmentmalfunction of power and surrounding, ensure the power equipment work normally forAC or DC power supply, and ensure communication facility operation safety. However,the present monitoring system lacks centralized device management and failuremanagement and some essential synthesis application functions, fail to meet theincreasing requirement for maintenance and management. In order to improve themethod of informatization support for the power equipment maintenance andmanagement, this article in view of the present maintenance management modeldesign the EMS (Equipment Management Subsystem) based on the engine room PSMS.EMS is a network of power equipment management system, and based on the B/Sstyle structure. The development of EMS system is based on the.NET environmentplatform, and use technology of SQL Server database, through the application layerpage realizes to control and process the bottom database object. The development ofEMS system is also based on the present PSMS system and use the existingcommunication network. The major function of EMS includes equipment resourcemanagement, equipment failure management, equipment report form management, usermanagement and so on.This system integrates the present monitoring platform resource effectively, hasdeveloped a new method of equipment management, and further realizes elaboratemaintenance and management for the power and environmental equipments in engineroom, and can improve the efficiency of maintenance and management.
