Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays with the rapid growth in data services, the load of the mobilecommunications network rises sharply and makes the quality of network servicedecline.There a contradiction between customer who demands the mobilecommunication network with high quality and limited network resources we have. Inaddition, as the development of3G networks are maturing,data traffic diversionfrom the GSM/EGPRS network to the3G network has increased in order to reducethe GSM/EGPRS network load. Cells in2G and3G networks with high load needthe new WLAN network in order to ease the pressure on the network. There is a newchallenge of our tradition to network performance of quality assessment system.This article discusses the development of mobile communication network, takesa brief description of GSM/EGPRS network theory and key technology andelaborates system of customer perception and KPIs of value system performance.Italso give an idea of data flow operating activities and general idea of cell valuesystem.In this paper, a new network quality analysis method was given based onthree-dimensional clustering method on GSM/EGPRS cell value system. Themethod starting from the data and traffic service revenue, traffic and quality of servicewith in three-dimensional to analyze the cell. There are four kinds cell type in thewhole network cell, such as high cell value and high traffic area, high cell value butlow traffic area, low cell value with high value area, low cell value and low trafficarea. After that, the method puts each type of cell in to three levels, such as poorquality, meaning quality and qualitative quality and search the reason in order to findsolution to optimize the network. It also apply the method to the informationtechnology implementation and guide Optimization Engineer in order to make theoptimization task more easier and saving time.Faced with the urgent needs of the data flow diversion work, this paper presentsa method named VCAT (value diversion) based on the value of the cell. We analysisthe cell from three point of view such as traffic dimension, the geographicaldimension and terminal dimensions. According to different service characteristics,regional characteristics and terminal distribution characteristics, the cell optimizationstrategies and methods are different. With the help of data flow diversion based onthe value system, the user’s the perception.of network is climbing.Finally, in Shenyang, the application is carried out which is for the analysis of the cell value method for network optimization. After evaluation and optimization areachieved, we make the network structure to be more suitable and network qualityincreased. Not only proportion of the double high cell of voice, but also the proportionof the double high data number of cells significantly increased. The great resultsprove that it makes large effort to mobile communication network, the method of cellvalue analysis and assessment method under The GSM/GPRS network.
