With the rapid development of the iron and steel industry, industrial waste slag increasedsignificantly, which is the current problem to be solved. Special cement demand increasedsignificantly with the development of the construction industry. Slag added to the cementpreparation of special cement becomes the perfect solution for more than two. The distributedcontrol system (DCS) is a new type of control technology, which aapplies computer technologyto monitor the production process of the industrial scene.. In recent years, DCS is widely usedin the cement process control in the production process.In this thesid,take the Weifang slag cement production line control system for example,the design and implementation of the DCS system in the actual process control project, and adetailed analysis of the automation project control issues and problems and on-siteimplementation is described.Firstly this paper introduces the characteristics of steel slag cement, present developmentsituation of cement, the basic concepts of DCS, DCS development history and future trend ofdevelopment direction. The applications of DCS control in the cement production line isintroduced About the project specific process, the main control system’s technical requirements,system the principle and the overall scheme of the system is also discribed; the whole controlsystem are introduced in the aspect of the use of hardware and software.The parper details thehardware and software configuration and configuration, including the acquisition pointconfiguration, database configuration, control program, image configuration, and the externaldata interaction. This article also includes the system’s interconnection between hardware andsoftware. The use of PID control algorithm in the project is described clearly, as well as somekey technical problems encountered in tuning of PID parameters.There is analysis of concreteproblems, propose solutions, and implement field of the project.The cement production line has been put into operation.for six months. The entire controlsystem is operating normally and is able to achieve the production target of slag cement, and ithas user-friendly interface, simple operation.The PID controller is fast and stable.
