The Wind Tunnel Auto-focus Software Design Base On Electronic And Optical System

Automatic focus plays an important role in modern photoelectric imaging system,and has developed into a complex technology which integrated with light, machine,electricity, software and algorithm. Under this background, a set of high-performance ofsoftware, algorithm and microcontroller program was developed for the purpose ofcontrol the industrial camera to focus automatically in this dissertation. The developedsoftware acquire a series of image data through the camera, then a best focused positionwould be acquired after the image data processed by the image processing algorithm.After that, the stepping motor which was controlled by the single-chip would drive thecamera going to the best focused position.Automatic focus not only applied in civil areas like the digital camera, highresolution digital video surveillance cameras, but also widely used in the field ofmilitary information in recent years. Software discussed in this dissertation hassuccessfully applied in a wind tunnel non-contact measuring system of a certain army.The software greatly improved the efficiency of measurement, which speeds up ournational defense information construction.
