Design And Implementation Of College Scientific Research Management Information System Based On Browser/Server

With the increasingly development of scientific research, the research activities and scientific research ability of colleges and universities has become an important indicator of the comprehensive strength, leading to the university’s research and statistical work constantly massive and heavier. Research management tools based on traditional conventional office software, relatively independent stand-alone management system can no longer meet the needs of research management. In this situation, computer information technology, the reconstruction of the Research Management Information System, in order to strengthen the management of day-to-day research work, integrating scientific research workflow, providing real and effective reference for decision-making, so as to enhance the level of research management, is also a problem the research units must solve.This paper uses UML modeling tools (rational rose) to conduct a needs analysis and modeling of the system. And on this basis, the system architecture, database, modules, functions, and system interface was designed. With the introduction of Ajax technology, based on.NET platform the system was designed and achieved. The system uses SQL Server as the back-end data management systems, and in the front-end data access using the technology of ADO.NET. Actual research management, the system was designed with the11sub-systems including integrated office, research institutes, researchers, research projects. And most of the functionality of the module was achieved.Finally, summary of the work was done, with the prospect of university research management system based on B/S structure. The system lays a technological foundation for upgrading the system on Function expansion and Performance improvement.
