At present, the velocity measuring equipment is developing rapidly, and the real-time processing system for speed measuring radar, which is the core equipment of speed system, also has a great progress, the research of developing the real-time processing system for speed measuring radar is important to China.In recent years, the embedded chip which is represented by ARM is developing rapidly, it brings a large number of the application of high performance, meanwhile, because of a better price/performance ratio, the application of FPGA is used more and more widely.The project designs a scheme by ARM11combining with FPGA of the digital signal processing technology, which aims at current condition that the processing system for speed measuring radar is lack of real-time, too expensive, high power. This scheme adopts the ARM11processor as the core of the whole system chip, adopts FPGA as the digital signal processing chip, and the software operating system used in this project is embedded Linux system. This paper has completed the following work:The design of hardware; real-time digital signal processing implementation of FPGA; embedded Linux transplantation; ARM11and FPGA interface driver; power spectrum analysis application; the application on Qt platform; system error analysis of testing results.Through debugging and constant updating of each module and system, I successfully finish a real-time processing system for speed measuring radar of ideal performance and all parameters meet the requirements.
