Through3D surface shape measurement technology, the surface topography of the bullets can be measured and the result is valuable in analysis the extrusion and ablation of bullets. The main task in this issue is to develop a photography instrument that can acquire the surface topography of high speed target.The issue designs a3D measurement plan based on grating projection and multi-angle detecting, to fit dynamic object shape measuring implementation. In MATLAB a simulation had been made to estimate the influence of various parameters of the system, in order to choose the appropriate design parameters.The quality of the fringe projected on the detected surface has a great effect on the accuracy of the system, so the fringe projector is an important component. The essay proposed two plans to generate the fringe:using two optic fibers to interfere; using the image of grating component. Then a series of experiments using these two schemes have been conducted to figure out which is more suitable for the fast moving target photographical system. After that, the final scheme of fringe projector has been set, working with the short-pulse laser, the photography system can use stroboscopic effect to "frozen" the distort fringe image of the high speed target.After analysis the field of view and the resolution needed, we selected the lens and camera. The issue developed the distort fringe pattern acquisition system, which is used to realize the synchronism of the exposure high-speed CCD camera, the laser pulse and the moving target. Using the PCI-TMC12(A) card produced by ICP DAS company to realized system controlling. This synchronism is the key to ensure such system can capture distort fringe pattern on high speed target. And design the mechanical bracket.After commissioning and test, the system is used to measuring an object which shape has already known, to estimate its accuracy. To statistic target the accuracy fit the requirement. The system is eventually used in ballistic test. Through the distort fringe pattern the system captured, the3D profile of moving target can be reconstructed. It verified that this system is applicable for the dynamic surface topography.
