Video-on-demand technology can meet user’s demand for watching video programs better, so asan important application of streaming media technology has been a great concern. From thecharacteristics of cloud computing and P2P networks, two are complementary technology, thecombination of the two technologies will have broad prospects. This study is based on theCLT_VOD/P2P model.Node data processing mainly completes the data update, push and cache replacement. In viewof the insufficient of Recode update method, based on the analysis of the LT encoding process, thispaper propose an data updating method based on the " seed " and packet switching. By means ofreserving proper degree1of encoded packets as "seed ", the method can use packet switching atany time to update data. according to the statistics of user video program on demand, this paperpropose data push strategy based on the law of Zipf. Based on the user’s interest change in the videopopularity migration phenomena and the equivalence between the encoded packet fountain code,The algorithm based on the popularity and the popularity of migration according to the proportionof deletion is proposed.In order to ensure the fluency of video playback in the wide area network with dynamicchanges, this paper proposes a combination method which set dynamically adjust the code lengthand packet size as the core. The algorithm has good adaptive ability to network changes,which canavoid interruption caused by network fluctuation.
