| It is very necessary to develop and research digital libraries in the currentenvironment of network and modern information technology. Based on existingresearches of information retrieval, service guidance system application background, development status at home and abroad, etc., this thesis introduces the presentinformatization level requirements upon libraries brought out by universities. Byimplementing a series of researches and analyses on the system requirements, application environment of university libraries, etc., it develops the libraryinformation retrieval and guide service system based on the distributed C/S pattern. The whole system is divided into C/S mode client-side AIO subsystem and B/Smode which is for all campus network users to access the subsystem. Although thetwo subsystems are separated in form, they are unified in logic. C/S mode client-sideAIO subsystem is developed on the basis of SSH, i.e. the popular framework of J2EE.In this subsystem, users could conduct self-service operations such as swiping cardsfor identification, borrowing books, and returning books, graphical touching, etc. Allthe functions are realized via saving data onsite in a distributed structure, and the datacould be transferred to the server in real time. B/S model subsystem is running on theTomcat6.0application server. It uses Java language to develop, utilizes Myeclipse6.5to deploy, and enables campus network users to visit the web server by browsers. Thesystem could make full use of the respective characteristics and advantages of the twokinds of modes.Through investigation, the thesis summarizes the current research situation anddevelopment trend of domestic as well as foreign digital library systems. It alsodiscusses and studies the relevant technology for designing as well as developing thesystem. This provides a technical support for follow-up work related to the system.Based on the analysis of detailed demand of the system, the thesis presents thedistributed-pattern system model for information retrieval and guide service. It carriesout not only gradually refined study, but also detailed analysis and design from theoverall architecture of the system to various subsystems in line with the distributedinformation retrieval and information guidance service system model. Concerning thedistributed information retrieval and guide service system, under the combined modeof C/S and B/S, the researchers carry out the program realization for each subsystem. They also provide the source codes of key parts in synchronization of API interfacedata used by the system’s operating interface and program. They conduct deploymentand test running of the system, and gradually perfect the system via maintenance workduring running process. The system runs normally and stably. Users could share the information in thelibrary more conveniently and efficiently. Thus the complicated and inefficientmanual mode of operation falls into disuse. The data in the library could be processedefficiently. Timely statistics and information feedback are also realized. This thesiscould provide some references for relevant researches in future. |
