In the process of China’s tunnel construction enterprises engineering projectmanagement, cost control has been a weak link. Construction enterprises shouldinsist in the scientific cost control principle, and carry out the effective costcontrol in order to survive and develop in the fierce market competition.However, because of the numerous and jumbled information, and the tedious costdata gathering statistics during the tunnel construction, which can not providedecision support to the project manager. Therefore, the management informationsystem introduction to assist cost control is an inevitable trend. According to thecurrent researches, most of tunnel construction cost control system developmentsfocus on a specific requirement; system development has to start from scratch fornew demands. These systems have poor generality and less flexibility, thus, theycannot be applied and extended. It’s very wasteful. Hence, study on the costcontrol general system for tunnel construction project is becoming to a pressingsubject.Firstly, the present research at home and abroad of engineering project costcontrol theory, software reuse technology and axiomatic design theory arereviewed; then the problems and status of existing engineering project costcontrol system are discussed. On the basis, the necessity of research on costcontrol general system for tunnel construction project is analyzed. All of theseprovide theoretical basis for the research object in this thesis.Secondly, this dissertation analyzes the business process of tunnelconstruction cost control, and hereby captures the tunnel construction costcontrol domain’s common and variable requirements, further builds up thedomain feature model. Once again combining the thoughts of axiomatic design,the domain feature model is mapped to functional components. Meanwhile, in order to realize a fast component assembly and component retrieval, the interfaceconnection architecture and facet description document are designed respectively.Finally, using COM and component assembly technology, the general system isrealized. To better support the reconfiguration of general system, this thesis takesTianshan Mountains tunnel construction cost control project as an example to doempirical study of application system development, which verified the generalsystem has rationality and practicability.
