Sewage pumping station is more and more widely used and distributed inthe urban drainage systems, and its effective operation is an importantguarantee for the normal life of the city. This paper studies the design ofembedded ARM-based server control system in the sewage pumping station.Popular control scheme uses a specific PC software control system, suchas configuration software, VB, and others to realize monitoring functions.These control systems are dependent on the software, and have poorportability. The general design of a control system need to rely on some brandsof PC software support, thus making the data exchange very complex. Oncethe host computer failure, it can not be real-time access to get remoteinformation and control field devices. In this paper, the embedded server-basedcontrol system uses server-browser mode, a combination of computer webtechnology. The control scheme is different from previous server-client mode, it does not require supporting PC software. Information data and monitoringfunctions are implemented in the form of web pages to complete. On thebrowser side, monitoring staff only need to use common browser on thecomputer to log into the server to operate. The communication protocol usesadaptive Ethernet, its applicability is very strong, any computer can operate ina LAN. If the current computer failure, staff can continue to work in thereplacement of the machine. The control system has strong scalability, simplestructure, and provides an easy-to-use control scheme.This paper describes the overall system design and details of the hardwareand software of the system design content. Hardware design uses thedevelopment board as core, contacts self-designed data acquisition interfacecircuit. Software design includes transplanting operating system andapplication programming. The application focuses on the use of computer webtechnology in embedded systems, including dynamic web design, interactivedata. In the test, mainly to complete the data collection and web controlfunction, the results show that the system is feasible and reliable. And we canget good effect using the control system.
