The Design And Realization Of Steel Purchase, Sales And Inventory Management System Based On C/S Mode

With the rapid development of the information technology, the information management is becoming an important chip for each enterprise to compete in the local and international market. Using computer technologies in sales and inventory management can make produce, sell and serve organically integrated with each other to improve an enterprise’s efficiency and benefit.This paper aims to discuss the development of a Purchase, sales and inventory management system for the steel company the author works for. This system, based on C/S mode, is impemented using Delphi7.0as the client application development tools. and SQL Server2000as the database management system.First, according to the actual needs of the company, the system requirement is sufficiently analysed and the basic business model of steel trading company is summarized. Then the realization technology of steel "Purchase, sales and inventory management system" is discussed. Finally the design and implementation of the system are listed. The system provides a feasible approach and technical reference for the comprehensive development of the Purchase, sales and inventory management system in C/S mode.
